The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi says that Governor Willie Obiano’s mission is to ensure that every resident of the State is captured in the scheme.
Dr. Onyemaechi stated this during the enrollment of one hundred Ndi Umueri, Anambra East Local Government Area into the scheme.
According to Dr. Onyemaechi, Governor Willie Obiano is desirous of ensuring that everybody resident in Anambra State is captured in the scheme, hence the huge resources his administration has spent in the scheme.
Dr. Onyemaechi who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, appealed to influential and affluent Ndi Anambra to help the less privileged ones to be enrolled into the scheme for a better and healthier Anambra State.
The traditional ruler of Umueri, Igwe Ben Emeka who commended Governor Obiano for setting up the agency, thanked Ndi Umueri in the United States of America for paying for the one hundred elderly people from the Community and prayed God to bless them immensely.
The event was held at Umueri Civic centre, built with one of the tranches of the twenty million naira Community Choose your Project initiative of the Willie Obiano administration.
