It was a celebration of life as the remains of Sir Sylvester Agudosy was laid to rest at his country home Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area.


The burial mass held at Saint Marks Catholic Church, Abagana, was officiated by the Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese Most Reverend Jonas Benson Okoye.


In a homily at the burial mass Reverend Father Joseph Nwanna emphasized the need for Christians to be ready at all times, as the resurrection of life is sure for those who live according to the will of God.


Reverend Father Nwanna, described late Sir Sylvester as a devout Christian who had great zeal to do the things OF God’s and supported the church.


The first son of the deceased, Sir Fredrick Agudosy, noted that their father made great impact not just in the life of his family but among numerous people who come across him, which testimonies abound and he struggled never to compromise with his Christian faith.


Other children of the deceased, including Mrs. Edith Ezeaku and Barrister Fabian Agudosy, said the vacuum left by their late father even at his old age will be hard to fill, as he was a man of many parts, who used his gifts and resources to impact positively on those around him.


They all enjoined Christians and all to live a life worthy of emulation, being conscious of eternity and live according to God’s words and teachings.


Late Sir Sylvester Agudosy, aged eighty-nine was a Knight of Saint John’s International, a Community leader and an accomplished businessman.
