The Officers and Men of the Nigerian Police have been charged to strengthen the unity and cooperation among them during the on the ongoing games to promote understanding in their various Zones and states after the event.


The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Inter Party and Political, Chief Ben Obi gave the charge while reacting to the performances of the Officers and Men of the Nigerian Police Force during their track event at Rojenny Tourist Garden Oba, Idemili South Council Area.


Chief Obi who maintained that relationship built during the competition will enthrone unity and love among Nigerians applauded the state Governor, Chief Willie Obiano for making the hosting of Nigerian Police Games in the state a reality and commended Ndi Anambra for their support and cooperation.


On her part, a spectator, Mrs Nneoma Nwankwo who said she came all the way from United States for the games noted that Anambra State is the safest state in Nigeria and challenged the officers to replicate same in their various Zones after the games.


A member of Board of Trustees of APGA, Chief Rommy Onwuka, in his contribution, praised the performances of the athletes, noting that it was an indication that the Nigerian Police Force has the capacity to produce champions that will represent the country in the world games, making reference to Chioma Ajunwa and a host of others who have brought laurels to the country.


Chief Onwuka who disclosed that over four hundred athletes are participating in the games with about eighty percent of the games taking place at the Rojenny Tourist Garden, challenged the officers and men of the Force to use their spirit of sportsmanship to unite the country.
