The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria, Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh has called on Christians, especially the Anglican faithful to support the incoming Primate Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba warning them against sabotage.


The Primate spoke during the dedication of Bishop’s Court of the Diocese on the Niger Onitsha.


Primate urged Christians to ensure that they don’t become a source for false teachings or weakness to the Church, pointing out that whatever one sows, he will surely reap.


The outgoing Primate called on Christians to work towards the growth of the Church rather than join people secretly to cut down the pillars holding the Church of God.


In a remark, Governor Willie Obiano, warned people in government against sabotage, stressing that Christians have a common enemy, as such should forge a united front.


Speaking on the significance of the building, the Bishop on the Niger, Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo expressed the hope that the next generation will see the complex as a launching pad for evangelism.


Speaking to the ABS, the member representing Onitsha North Constituency Two at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Eddy Ibuzo and the Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Venerable Ameachi Okwuosa, maintained that secured environment enthroned by the present government has made it possible for buildings and developments to crop up in various parts of the State.


Anambra State Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Archbishops, Bishops, other clergy, and a host of Anglican faithful attended the ceremony.
