Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke has promised that the present administration will continue with its good works and massive infrastructural development in the state despite the negative effect of the Coronavirus outbreak on the world economy.
Dr. Okeke was speaking during the official commissioning of a six kilometer road constructed by the Obiano government for Engwu-Ukwu people.
The Deputy Governor, who thanked Governor Willie Obiano for the construction of the road for the community, re-echoed that Ndi Enugwu-Ukwu has remained loyal to APGA government.
Speaking earlier, the state Commissioner for Works, Mr. Marcel Ifejiofor confirmed that the road was solidly constructed, and identified difficult terrain of the area as challenge faced by contractors that handled the project.
In a remark, the President General of Enugwu-Ukwu community, Comrade Bonny Ozonkwuaku, thanked the Governor for always having the community at heart, and commended the pace at which the road was constructed.
The six kilometers road with seven culverts started from Nkwo Enugwu-Ukwu to Onitsha-Enugu expressway, with a spur to Nawfia community.
