The member representing Onitsha North Two Constituency at Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Edward Ibuzo has distributed sanitary materials to his constituents to prevent the spread of corona virus in the constituency.
The exercise which took off from his constituency office in Onitsha covered the seven wards within the constituency.

Items distributed to the constituents were hand washing buckets, hand gloves, face masks, hand sanitizers, soap among others.
They were distributed to churches, markets, police stations, prisons, streets and other public areas.
Addressing the people, Honourable Ibuzo explained that the gesture was to complement the efforts of the state Government in protecting the life of Ndi Anambra against the deadly COVID 19 that has claimed lives in many countries and confined all to their homes.
He urged the people to wash their hands regularly with soap, water, apply hand sanitizers, keep social distance from people, avoid social events of more than thirty persons as directed by the State Government to avoid the pandemic.
The lawmaker who noted that corona virus has placed the world in a pathetic situation commended Governor Willie Obiano for taking proactive measures against the virus which has made Anambra State free form the disease.
On his part, the President General, Onitsha Town Union, Mr. Chike Ekweogu applauded Honourable Ibuzo for his kind gesture, adding that the Town Union has banned social events in Onitsha for the safety of lives.
He said they also ensure strict compliance by monitoring public transporters in Onitsha on the number of passengers to convey at a time as approved by Government.
