The management of Zhongtian Construction Nigeria Limited, the developer of Agulu Lake Hotel, and currently developing the International Conference Centre Awka, has donated the sum of three million naira to Anambra state government to support the fight against Coronavirus.
Presenting the cheque to the Secretary to the State government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, the contract manager of the company, Mr. Abiola Kolawole said that the money was to support Anambra state government in the fight against COVID-19 and commended Anambra state government for all they have done so far in containing the situation in the state.
Mr. Kolawole further said that staff of the company are observing all preventive measures against COVID-19, as stipulated by medical experts.
Receiving the cheque, Prof. Chukwulobelu thanked the company for their kind gesture and called on other companies working in Anambra state to also support the fight against COVID-19 and assured that all the money donated so far will be put to good use.
The Commissioner for health, Dr. Vincent Okplala, that of housing, Architect Mike Okonkwo, the executive secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi were all present during the presentation.
