The Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka
Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim has charged Christians not to
fear COVID-19 but keep hope alive.

In a sermon during a service he officiated live through the ABS Radio
at Our Saviours Anglican Church Awka, Most Reverend Ibezim maintained
that COVID-19 calls for faith, hope and fervent prayers and expressed
optimism that soon it will be over.

He lamented the hardships the pandemic has brought to the people and
called on the faithful to go on and seek the face of God while they
distance themselves from anything ungodly.

Most Reverend Ibezim reminded the faithful of the precautionary
measures put in place by the government which will help to keep them
safe, adding that they should wash and sanitize their hands regularly
and keep social distance.
He encouraged the Ministers of God to continue to pray for their flock.
