More prominent citizens of Anambra State have continued to provide
succour to the people to- mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic
on them.
The Latest is coming from an illustrious son of Ogidi the Director
Zurel Consulting Limited and Chief Executive Officer Fruta Juice and
Service Lagos, Dr. Onyekachi Onubogu.
Presenting the relief materials to the Traditional ruler of Ogidi,
Igwe Alex Onyido, the parents of the benefactor Venerable and Mrs
Allison Onubogu, who made the presentation on behalf of their son,
said the stimulus package was part of their contribution to assist in
cushioning the effect of Covid-19 in the community.
He said similar package was earmarked for widows and vulnerable in
Ikenga Ogidi.
Receiving the items, which includes One thousand bags of ten kilogrammes of rice and one thousand bottles of seventy-five litres of vegetable oil, the Traditional ruler of Ogidi, Igwe Onyido, who expressed satisfaction with the donation, acknowledged that such magnanimity is worthy of emulation.
Earlier the President -General of Ogidi Union Nigeria, Mr. Chuka
Onubogu, noted that the gesture was part of dividends of his solid
foundation.
He announced other human oriented intervention projects embarked upon
by the benefactor at Iyienu Health Centre, in line with the present
administration’s call for Think Home Philosophy and prayed God to
strengthen his capacity.
