Igbo Christians Restoration Assembly, N-Power Beneficiaries Support Anambra Govt In Fight Against COVID -19

Anambra state government says it will utilize everything donated to it
to fight Coronavirus disease.

The Secretary to the State government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu
made this known when members of Igbo Christian Restoration Assembly
made a donation of six cartons of alcohol based hand sanitizers to the
state government at the Government House Awka.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Anambra state government,
Professor Chukwulobelu thanked the Association for their support to
government’s effort to fight the novel COVID-19 and reminded them of
the importance of keeping to all preventive guidelines approved by the
Anambra state government and health experts.

Professor Chukwulobelu commended the Association for all the prayers
they have been offering for the state and informed them that it is now
punishable offence for people not to wear face mask in the state,
advising them to educate their congregation properly during worships
in order to ensure that the state is free from the disease.

Earlier, the leader of the team, Right Reverend Robert Okafor
explained that the hand sanitizers is their little way of supporting
the Anambra state government in eliminating the COVID-19 pandemic and
praised Governor Willie Obiano’s administration for the doggedness and proactiveness demonstrated so far in the war against coronavirus
disease.

In the same vein, N-Power beneficiaries in Anambra state have donated
an automated hand washing machine and face masks to Anambra state
government as their own support in the fight against Coronavirus.

Presenting the items to the Secretary to Anambra state Government,
Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, the leader of the N-Power team Mr.
Emmanuel Chinedum said that the hand washing machine was built by the
N-Power beneficiaries in the state to support the state in eliminating
the scourge and equally revealed that they had earlier distributed
face masks at the State Secretariat.

Professor Chukwulobelu, in his remark appreciated them and extended
Governor Willie Obiano’s appreciation to them.
