The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor,
has condoled with the family of Late Chief Sir Anthony Obiagbaoso
Enukeme over the demise of their patriarch.

Reacting when the news of the death of Chief Enukeme filtered in at
Saint Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, Awka, Bishop Ezeokafor said that
he was utterly shocked and bewildered, noting that the Late Onowu Neni
had contributed immensely towards the advancement of the Gospel of
Jesus Christ and development of the Mother Church in Awka Diocese and
beyond.

The Catholic Prelate who described the death of the Chairman Tonimas
Group of Companies and the Traditional Prime Minister of Neni
community in Anaocha Local Government Area, as a huge loss, enjoined
all to take solace in the fact that the Late Enukeme lived a life
worthy of emulation.

Bishop Ezeokafor on behalf of the Catholic Diocese of Awka, consoled
his family and the entire Neni community to bear the loss with hope , adding that one cannot
question God who gives and then takes.

He described late Chief Enukeme as a man that worked very hard to
become somebody in life, a pillar to many, who invested so much in the
social system, in the Church, in political sphere, and in his
community.

Bishop Ezeokafor, while condoling the family prayed for the quick
repose of his soul, even as he asked God to give his family the grace
to bear what he described as irreparable loss.
