The member representing Njikoka Two Constituency in the Anambra State
House of Assembly, Dr. Pete Ibida has drilled a borehole for Ezira
Village, Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Area to give them a sense of
belonging.

The borehole facility which was sighted in front of Ezira Health
Centre has been inaugurated.

While peaking before the inauguration of the borehole, the benefactor, Dr Ibida explained that it was borne out of his passion and desire to
improve the living standard of the people and stop them from going to
stream to fetch water which he said may not be healthy for
consumption.

Inaugurating the borehole, the Traditional Ruler of Nimo, Igwe Maxi
Oliobi noted that the project has direct bearing on the lives of the
people as human beings cannot sustain their lives without water and
commended the lawmaker for putting up superlative performances within
the short period he has stayed in office after his re-election.

On his part, the Chairman, Ezira Village, Mr Patrick Egbekpalu
commended the benefactor for his effective representation, adding
that he has worked beyond the functions of a state legislator.
Later, Dr Ibida moved to Akpu village, Abagana where he handed over
another borehole he drilled for the people to the leadership of the
community.

In his remark, the Traditional Ruler of Abagana, Igwe Mbamalu Okeke
described it as a true example of dividend of democracy.
In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of the village, Chief Christopher
Ozughaa noted that the lawmaker has left his footprints in the sands
of time by accomplishing such project.
