The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works has urged the
Construction firm handling construction of Ihite-Ndiorji road to
expedite action on it.
Ihite road is in Orumba South Local Government Area linking Ndi Orji
in Abia state.
House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the
Committee gave the directive when it over sighted the project as part
of their constitutional responsibilities.
Speaking at the two point three kilometer road, the Chairman of the
Committee, Dr. Timothy Ifedioramma observed that the job already done
by the firm is of high quality but frowned at the slow pace of the
project.
He however assured that the Committee will play its role to ensure
that the project will be completed in due time.
A member of the Committee, Honourable Lawrence Ezeudu commended the
construction firm for working according to specification as it will
enable the road to stand the text of time.
Honourable Ezeudu who described the Ihite-Ndiorji road as gateway to
Anambra State noted that on completion it will facilitate the movement
of goods and services in the area.
