The Anambra State House of Assembly has passed a resolution urging
Governor Willie Obiano to direct the Commissioner for Works to embark
on an immediate repair of Ojoto-Ede road in Okpoko to alleviate the
sufferings of the people.

motorists no longer ply the route.

the fact that they contribute immensely to the internally generated
revenue of the state, urged the Ministry of Works to reconstruct the
road to give the people a sense of belonging.

The member representing Aguata Constituency One, Dr Carter Umeh and
his Njikoka Constituency One counterpart, Dr. Timothy Ifedioramma also
spoke in favour of the motion.

The Speaker of the House, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, assured that
