The Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Professor Theresa Obiekezie says Anambra State government will continue to roll out more policies and programmes that will better the lots of Youths across the State.
Professor Obiekezie stated this during the inauguration of State and local government executives of Great Anambra Youth Renaissance Initiative in Awka.
Speaking at the event, Professor Obiekezie represented by Mrs. Chitoo Osili who is the Chief Youth Development Officer in the Ministry said that Governor Willie Obiano is a youth friendly Governor who is ever ready to support the youths.
Professor Obiekezie explained that the Ministry has many programmes for the youths at the moment, including Smart job, Digipreneur, Youths in Agriculture as well as various skills acquisition programmes geared towards the development of Anambra youths.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Youth Development, Mr. Eloka Egbunike who is the President of Great Anambra Youth Renaissance Initiative thanked Governor Obiano for giving Anambra youths the opportunity to serve in his government and assured that Anambra youths will continue to support his administration.
In their various remarks, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on General Hospital, Mrs. Nwamaka Arinze-Okoh, her Project Monitoring counterpart, Mr. Chiejina Obieze and Miss Chinenye Oguejiofo commended Governor Willie Obiano’s administration for the good job it is doing for Anambra youths and described the Programme as laudable.
