The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of zone 13 Mr.
Mohammed Danmallam has expressed satisfaction with the manner with
which the screening exercise for the recruitment of men and women into
the Nigeria Police Force which started yesterday in Awka, the Anambra
state capital, is being organized.

Mr. Danmallam stated this shortly after inspecting progress of the
screening exercise at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development
Center Awka.

The CP was received by the Head of Recruitment Team in the State,
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ben Nebolisa-Okolo, Police Public
Relations Officer Anambra State Command SP Haruna Mohamed among
others.

According to the AIG, the idea of screening two local Government Areas
daily is the best option as it provided for the observance of COVID
-19 protocols.

Why advising those who entered for the exercise to be at alert at all
times Mr. Danmalla assured that all the three thousand candidates who
made entries in Anambra must be screened, and urged the candidates to
ensure that they are at the venue early enough.

About seventy candidates from Anambra East and West were screened
yesterday, while candidates from Orumba North and South will be
screened today.

Meanwhile, the Anambra state Commissioner of Police CP John Abang
Earlier paid an unscheduled visit to the Police Recruitment screening
center at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center Awka
for on the spot assessment of the exercise.

According to a release signed by the Anambra state Police Public
Relations Officer, SP Haruna, the screening exercise which commenced
yesterday Monday 24th August 2020 was adjudge hitch free.
