To support Anambra State Government’s fight against Coronavirus
pandemic, Procter and Gamble Limited has donated one hundred and
twenty thousand pieces of Pampers for onward distribution to
Ministries of Health, Women and Children Affairs, as well as Caring
Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFÉ.


Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that while 
presenting the items, the facilitator of the largesse and Senior
Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Image Management, Chief
Chika Ibeneme, commended the State Government for the superlative
fight against the pandemic, evident in the upgrade of health
facilities and retraining of health workers in the state. 


Expressing his appreciation, the Secretary to the State Government,
Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, said with such donations, Anambra State
Government is equal to the challenge of containing the spread of the
virus, even as schools are gradually reopening.


Describing the company as a staunch supporter of programs of the State
Government, Professor Chukwulobelu thanked Procter and Gamble Limited
for the relief materials previously donated, expressing hope that the
state government will enjoy more support from the company. 


Present during the presentation was the Deputy Chief Press Secretary
to the Governor Obiano, Mr. Emeka Ozumba, among other government
functionaries.
