For some people old age is a curse which brings about reoccurring illness, bent backs and weak limbs, but for Chief Mrs Flora Illonzo it is a blessing of love and warmth especially from families, friends and well wishers who came to reciprocate her good works.
Families and friends of the Chief Executive Officer Centre for Psychic and Healing Administration, CPHA, Chief Mrs Flora Illonzo gathered at her residence in Awka to mark her 74th birthday anniversary.
Chief Flora in an interview while thanking God for her life despite the challenges she faced over the years, appreciated Governor Willie Obiano and his wife Dr. Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano for finding her worthy to serve in his administration. She also thanked all who came to celebrate with her, praying God to reward them immensely.
The President Ikporo Onitsha, Awka branch, Mrs Nkiru Emengo, praised the celebrate who is also the patron of Ikporo Onitsha for her goodwill and for touching the lives of those she came in contact with positively. Upsot In their separate remarks, the traditional rulers of Okpuno and Ezinator, Igwe Sunday Okafor and Igwe Timothy Ezenwaka took turns to eulogize the good works of the celebrant, wishing her long life and prosperity. Upsot Also present at the event were the traditional ruler of Umuofor community in Oguta L.G.A of Imo State, Eze Dr Chimaeze Emetumah, Onowu Ebenebe Chief Joe Nwegwu amongst others.
Cutting of cake and dance by the celebrant formed the highlight of the event.
