Twenty-one candidates, at St Michaels’ Catholic Church Agbiligba Nanka, Orumba North Council Area have received first holy communion.
In a Holy Mass to commemorate the event, the Parish Priest, Reverend father Peter Akaenyi, charged the faithful to always forgive so as to be forgiven describing peace of mind as the greatest gift one can give him or herself.

Father Akaenyi urged them to assist the Parish with prayers and aid in the propagation of the gospel of God.

Earlier in his homily, the Vicar, Reverend Father Kenneth Udokogu called on parents to help their children and wards in building their spiritual and moral lives.

Father Udokogu asked the congregation to embrace Jesus Christ as their role model even as he warned that every Christian must be responsible for his or her actions.

He however appealed to them to desist from their sinful ways, live a holy life as God is ever ready to accept them.
Correspondent, Ebele Ezeh reports that the Holy Mass climaxed with the administration of Holy Communion on the new communicants, thanksgiving and songs from the choir.
