Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Public Petitions has commended the chairman, Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, Dr.
David Nzekwu for performing exceedingly well in office.

House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the chairman of the Committee, Honourable Emeka Aforka made the commendation when Dr. Nzekwu and the contractors working for the agency appeared before it at the Assembly complex in Awka.
Honourable Aforka revealed that Anambra State used to realize two million naira from the sale of emblem and batches yearly but under Dr. Nzekwu it increased to thirty million naira.

The Legislator also urged Hipolight, a firm working for the state and Chief Amadi Igweze to explore clause ten of the agreement they reached with the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service, which stipulates that they must settle their dispute through arbitration, rather than petitions.
The Committee expressed confidence in Dr Nzekwu, whom it described as a man of impeccable manners for leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that Internally Generated Revenue of the state is improved.
