Anambra State Government has expressed resolve to sustain collaboration with non-state actors in actualizing the holistic needs of Ndi-Anambra.
The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C-Don Adinuba, disclosed this at an event, organized by the Trauma Care Global Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign of the Christ Embassy at Onitsha General Hospital to commemorate the World Blood Donor Day.

Mr. Adinuba, who observed that the present administration is working closely with the church as an important vehicle for a better society, maintained that the church remains a critical stakeholder and partner in the overall development of the state.

Describing blood donation as a welcome development, Mr. Adinuba said the gesture was a demonstration of practical Christianity, corporate work of mercy and love for humanity.
He announced that the state government has adopted a model and revolution in the health sector geared towards qualitative health care delivery of the citizenry with COVID-19 protective care centers, recognized as the best facility built in accordance with the WHO standard.

Speaking at the event, the zonal Pastor, Archie Aseme, said the blood donation by every member of the outreach was in line with the passion of the ministry in saving lives and contributing its quota in activating the New Blood Bank.

In a remark, Pastor Ngy Aseme noted the commitment and mandate of the outreach in raising one thousand paints of Blood in sustaining lives and supporting the global event.
Earlier, a member of the campaign team, Dr Paul Igwe while addressing the public on the vision and mission of the outreach for mankind, reawakened people’s consciousness on the need to be a change agent and imbibe a life style through donation of blood to rescue emergencies.
