Idemili South chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,
has promised to intensify efforts on effective grassroot mobilization.
This was to ensure that the party remains dominant as the Anambra
governorship poll draws nearer.
Speaking while welcoming the state executives of the party at the
Idemili South council headquarters, Ojoto, during the APGA local
government tour, the Idemili South APGA Chairman Mr. Joe Ezeanya who
said that he has a smooth working relationship with the ward
executives, assured of being more formidable at the grassroots.
He commended the Obiano led administration for ensuring government
presence in every town within Idemili South.
Earlier in his opening remark, the state Chairman of APGA, Sir Norbert
Obi while commending the gathering for their commitment, assured of
more projects as he said the third phase of the community choose your
project initiative is about to kick off.
Speaking on the objective of the tour, the Chairman of the Committee
On Tour, Chief Theophine Nnoli and the state Secretary of the party
Barrister Tony Ifeanya, said that the tour was to address all
challenges facing the party especially at the grassroots as he said
that any house that desires progress will achieve peace first.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South council area, Mr.
Don Unachukwu on his part, expressed optimism that the tour will
impact on the party positively and commended the state working Committee
for such brilliant initiative.
Idemili South Local Government Area is the sixth on the row, as APGA
State Working Committee had in the past weeks visited, Ekwusigo, Nnewi
North, Orumba North and South and Anaocha Local Government Areas.
