As Anambra state prepares for yet another gubernatorial election come 2021, more stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA have cautioned against disunity among it’s members.
They also harped on the need for a credible candidate who will consolidate on the landmark achievements of the APGA government so far and as well aim higher with regards to good governance.
According to the stakeholders including, the Dunukofia APGA Coordinator, Chief Cyprain Afunugo and the Chairman, Anambra State Physical Planning Board, Barrister, Chike Maduekwe peace and unity are very essential
They assured the party of their unflinching support, and praised the party executives including the leader of the party, Chief Willie Obiano for making the party proud through quality and effective leadership.
Speaking  at the Dunukofia Local Government Headquarters, Ukpo, during APGA Local Government Tour,  the Anambra State House of Assembly Chief Whip and member representing Dunukofia constituency, Honorable Lawrence Ezeudu remarked that the tour is timely and commended the leadership of the party both at the state and national level for their  commitment to the future of the Party.
Honorable Ezeudu, noted   Anambra vision 2070 which he described as the Anambra development master plan, would ensure steady, sustainable and accelerated  development of Anambra state

Earlier, the APGA state Chairman, Sir Norbert Obi represented by the state deputy chairman of the party, Mr Tony Omeligwe noted that the tour  aims at among other things,   giving  every member of the party a sense of belonging especially at the grassroots.
For the former chairmen of the local government, who were also present during the tour, including Mr Chukwudi Okeke and Mr John Olibie, APGA government has transformed Anambra state in the past years, stressing that the party still has more to offer the state in terms of development.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Dunukofia council area, Engineer Emeka Okonkwo expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment towards Youth development by the current Obiano led administration and expressed hope that APGA will produce another capable and credible governor who understands government and cares  for Ndi Anambra and the growth of the state.
Others who spoke during the tour include the Committee Chairman in charge of the tour, Chief Theophina Nnoli and the APGA State Secretary, Barrister Tony Ifeanya who called for massive grassroot mobilization by the ward executives highlighted few landmark achievements of the present administration and the need for continuity and sustainability.
