More prominent citizens of Anambra State have joined in the call on the youths to end violence and destruction of public property in the name of ENDSARS protests.

One of them is the Traditional Prime Minister of Awa Community in Orumba North local Government Area, Chief Israel Ezue, who regretted the destruction of government property which he noted is counterproductive and commended Governor Willie Obiano for the bold steps he took in addressing the situation in Anambra State.

Chief Ezue who described youths of Igbo extraction as hard working, respectful and diligence, called on the federal government to map out more employment opportunities for them to divert their minds from restiveness.

He commended the Obiano administration for series of empowerment programmes he launched for the teeming youths in Anambra State and charged the youths to key into such programmes to become self reliant.

Contributing, another community leader at Nanka in Orumba North Local Government Area, Chief Osita Ezechukwu, while calling on the youths to avoid acts callable of marrying their future, called on the federal government to find ways of engaging the youths in meaningful ventures.

He regretted the wanting destruction of property across the country over ENDSARS protests and called for measures to ensure peaceful co-existence amongst the people.

Chief Ezechukwu called for fasting and prayers by all Nigerian in view of the numerous challenges confronting the Nigerian-Nation.
