Governor Willie Obiano has inspected the ongoing International Conference Centre Awka, in fulfillment of his promise of weekly inspection of the project.
Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that Governor Obiano, who was accompanied on the visit by the Commissioner for Housing, Architect Michael Okonkwo expressed satisfaction that roofing process has commenced.
The Lead Consultant for the project, Mr. Ifeanyi Okoma, who was on ground to conduct the Governor round their achievements after his last visit, explained that twenty-seven technicians are presently working on the site day and night, adding that all the consultants have moved into Awka to fast tract the work.
He promised that by the Governor’s next visit, most part of the roofs would have been fixed, reiterating that the project will be delivered by March, 2021.
