The Wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Ebelechukwu Obiano has charged nursing graduates of the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, Abagana Study Centre to be professional and focused in the discharge of their duties.
Dr Mrs. Obiano, who gave the charge during the Health Week of Community Health Nurses, described nursing as a noble profession she held in high esteem.
She enjoined the students to embrace hard work and focus on their studies, despite the distance and work pressure, assuring that with determination, they are sure to excel.
The Governor’s wife, represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Dr Simeon Onyemaechi, who is also the Executive Secretary of Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, ASHIA, commended a former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for initiating the prestigious institution, now widely known in and outside the country.
The Director of NOUN Awka Study Centre, Dr Ezeribe expressed gratitude to the wife of the Governor for gracing the occasion.
