Endurance, Persistence, Determination and Dedication have been described as factors that will help women in achieving a peaceful family.

The view was projected by speakers during a book launch in Awka titled ‘Her True Essence: the tripod of wife, mother and queen’’ written by Mrs. Adaobi Nwawulu of the state judiciary.

The book which is full of insights that will help women in marital issues also touches the psychological, spiritual and physical aspects of a woman’s stability.

Speaking during the book launch, the member representing Anambra East in the State House of Assembly, Chief Obinna Emeneka said the book is well articulated to impart moral values in the lives of women, regretting the up surge of crisis witnessing in marriages today and encouraged the author to mentor more women for a better society.


The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C-Don Adinuba in his speech said the society thrives when it is guided by the right values and even rapid economic development is predicated on appropriate societal values.
He recommended the book for everyone in the society.

The former Chief Judge of the State, Justice Peter Umeadi while unveiling the book, said the contents of the book are reference point for all women.

While reviewing the book, a Professor of Gender Rights Law, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje said women are good managers of every home and encouraged them to be firm and spend more time with their wards even as she said that they should be good disciplinarian and build a God fearing home.


In appreciation, the author of the book, Mrs. Nwawulu said the book was aimed at changing some narratives of women who think marriage institution is a nightmare because of turbulent and challenges witnessed in it.

Unveiling of the book and cutting of cake formed the highlights of the event.
