The Anambra State Police command has decorated officers recently promoted by the Police Service Commission.
Those promoted include, seventeen Chief Superintendents of Police, one Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioners of Police, two Assistant Commissioners of Police, among others.
The decoration took place at the Anambra State Police Command Headquarters Amawbia.
Among those decorated is Haruna Mohammed, who is the Command’s Public Relations Officer.
Congratulating the newly decorated officers, the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang charged them to be good ambassadors of the force.
Mr Abang reminded them that as they are now senior officers, they should carry themselves accordingly as their new ranks demand more responsibility.
Some of the Police officers whose wives were also present were given the privilege to decorate their husbands alongside the Commissioner of Police.
