Anambra State government has restated its determination to sustain interventions in the Health sector to maintain quality healthcare services.

The Commissioner for Health Dr Vincent Okpala gave the assurance, while unveiling a `Vision Chart’, an instrument that ensures self-vision screening at Saint Raphael Hospital, Akpo in Aguata Local Government Area.

The gadget was donated by the Nigeria Optometric Association, Anambra State Chapter.

The Commissioner, who spoke through his Personal Assistant, Mr Nwaka, thanked the association for the gesture and urged the people to avail themselves the opportunity of coming to the hospital for their regular eye tests.

He assured that the State government will work with the Church to rehabilitate Saint Raphael Hospital to enable the people of Akpo and environs enjoy more benefits from the government.

The Health Commissioner re-emphasized the dangers of COVID-19, stressing that it has killed many and is actively ravaging the International Community and urged the people to adhere to all preventive measures against the pandemic.
