Umujagwo Youth Association Agulu-Awka in collaboration with Ndi Ichie of the village recently rounded off the year 2020 with prayer summit, Carnival and launching of Projects.

The event which took place at a village Square in Awka attracted both indigenes of the community and their friends.

The event according to the community seeks to house the various activities that attract young people, youths and elderly in the village for interactions, assessment of their wellbeing and re-awaken their Christian lives for a better society.

In his message during the event, Pastor Olisaemeka Nosike said that the best way any Community could do well and shun evil is to give their life to Christ and promote righteousness.

The Chairman on the occasion who is also the sponsor of the village annual Bible Quiz competition, Senior Apostle Charles Onyechi acknowledged that the vision of the event was to reorganize the mindset of their children towards godly lifestyle and expressed satisfaction with the impact of the summit since three years it was started.

In his Welcome address, the youth chairman of the village Chief Nonso Onyechi highlighted that  Umujagwo village Awka is   the fifth son of Agulu who migrated to Awka from Ezeagu town Enugu and revealed that the existing peace among them has brought opportunities for education, skill acquisition and empowerment to their people in all aspects of their chosen endeavors and appreciated their fathers for the foundation laid.

The winner of the 2020 quiz competition, Ebele Chukwukeluo while receiving the gifts accompanied with a trophy expressed happiness and commended the organizers of the event.
