The remains of the late Mrs Catherine Anyanwu Nnagbo have been laid to rest in Awka.
The burial mass which took place at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Awka attracted people from all walks of life who came to pay their last respects to the deceased.
The Late Mrs Catherine Nnagbo who was born August twelfth 1935 died in July thirteenth, 2020.
Presiding Over the burial mass, the Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, Most Reverend Anthony Adamu Adaji advised the family of the deceased to live their lives with fear of God.
Appreciating all who came to commiserate with them, one of the brothers of the deceased Reverend Father Charles Nweze and the only son Chief Michael Nnagbo thanked people who people left their different activities to witness the burial, praying God to bless them.
Speaking on how life were with the deceased over the twenty years she was in the United States, her  daughters Mrs Oby Okechukwu and Mrs Nkechi Okwara said their Mother was  jovial stating that they will surely miss her.
Also some of her grandchildren including Miss Chekwube Morah and Mr Kenechukwu Okechukwu said that the memories they had with their late grandmother cannot be forgotten.
Among the dignitaries who were present at the burial mass was the former governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi.
Interment was at the deceased compound in Umuzocha village Awka, while reception took place at the new Saint Patrick’s Cathedral field where there was a music performance by Bright Chimezie and Cultural display by Super Nwokorobo Cultural dance-Umuchoke Dikenafai Ideato South local government of Imo state.
