Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke has appealed to Ndi Anambra to guard selves against COVID-19 as it is globally raking havoc the second time.
Deputy Governor Okeke made the call recently at a social gathering in Awka.
Dr. Okeke, who regretted that some people still do not believe on the existence of the virus, noted that Nigeria and other countries of the world already lost many souls to the killer disease.
He said that it is imperative that people of Anambra State take all necessary precautions against the virus in order to be safe.
He explained that Governor Obiano government will continue to do the needful to control the spread of the virus in the state.
The Deputy Governor also enumerated wearing of face mask, regular hand washing, and social distancing as major safety protocols people must strictly observed.
