The Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association in the South East Alhaji Gidado Sidiq has assured the people of the zone that their members will continue to obey and respect customs and tradition of Ndi Igbo.

Alhaji Sidiq who gave the assurance while speaking to the ABS in Awka over pockets of crisis between members of the association and some host communities in the country, described Ndi Igbo as the most hospitable and accommodating tribe in Nigeria who do not discriminate against anybody and promised that their members will continue to respect and obey the customs and tradition of the people of the South East region.

Alhaji Sidiq who is the leader of Fulani Community in Anambra State commended the Governors of the South-East region, especially Governor Willie Obiano for putting adequate machineries in place to ensure that cattle breeders and their host communities continue to live in peace and harmony.

He promised that the association has already set up internal mechanism to deal with all the bad elements among their members to ensure that the existing peace between people of the South-East and their members are not jeopardized under any guise.
