Anambra State Ministry of Transport has commenced the compulsory registration and online management of all commercial vehicles including Motorcycles operating in the State through the Anambra State Transport Management Code.
The registration exercise which will last for four weeks is in line with directives of Governor Willie Obiano to that effect.
According to a release signed by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of transport Dr Eman Udeakpe the registration for all commercial motorcyclists is taking place at the Motorcycle Transport Union of Nigerian office Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Area.
The release urged all commercial motorcyclists in Anambra State, that registration through the Anambra State transport management code is mandatory, reminding them that failure to comply with the registration exercise within the stipulated time will be severely dealt with in accordance with the law.
The release advised all commercial motorcyclists in Anambra State to comply accordingly.
