Numerous achievements of Governor Willie Obiano’s administration these past seven years have continued to speak for themselves more especially in areas of public utilities and other infrastructure.
This was brought to the fore by the Commissioner for Public Utilities and Water Resources, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne during the special ABS Radio Programme titled, Governor Willie Obiano at seven anchored by Mr Tony One week Muonago.
Governor Obiano’s administration since inception in office was poised to developing all nook and crannies of the state more especially with social amenities in making live of Ndi Anambra worth living and paving way for investors to come in and boast the income of the state
No wonder the state has become the Dubai of Africa with the lighting up the streets and provision of about seven hundred and thirty units transformer to communities, non-governmental organizations and private sectors in ensuring steady power supply.
Massive water scheme with that of Otuocha and Obizi water regional schemes were not left out as so many communities within the area it covered now enjoy fresh portable water and the fetching points brought close to their door steps.
The Commissioner for Public Utilities Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne as a guest on the program, described Governor Obiano as a master of projects who sequentially laid down security infrastructure and lubricated it for sustainability stating that he energized all the communities in the state with community choose your project initiative at the tune of sixty million naira for each community.
Engineer Ezenwanne highlighted the greatest achievement of the Obiano’s administration in term of provision of one thousand eight hundred and sixty kilometers street lights infrastructure and inauguration of facility management committee to liase with the communities in ensuring safe and better supervision
The commissioner further revealed that Governor Willie Obiano signed memorandum of understanding with the Transmission Company of Nigeria in providing massive sub-station to build power rings and promote businesses.
Some callers on the program, Mrs Esomchi Ogbueze from Umunze, Mr Udenze Obiora of Enugwu Aguleri and Uche Onuora of Igbariam applauded governor Obiano’s giants stride in infrastructure, saying that various communities now witness massive infrastructural development till today
