The Chairman Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, T.U.C, Comrade Okechukwu Ifeanyi says by all index of development, the Obiano administration has performed creditably.
Speaking on the seventh anniversary of the governor, Comrade Ifeanyi described Governor Obaino as a pragmatic and visionary leader who has exhibited selflessness and prudent management of resources and one committed to the progress and welfare of Ndi Anambra.
According to the Trade Union Congress boss, through his robust plan and policies, his innovations in governance and pro-active measures in tackling emergencies, Governor Obiano has successfully re-defined governance, rid Anambra of criminals installed peace and discipline in the society and created favourable environment for business to thrive.
While describing him as the most labour friendly governor in the country, Comrade Ifeanyi who believes in the importance of the work force as the engine room of government said that Governor Obiano satisfies their yearnings and aspirations by paying their salaries and allowances regularly when some states owe months of arrears and some pay half salaries.
On his part, the Traditional Ruler of Ihiala, Igwe Thomas Obidiegwu says from what is on ground in Anambra state in terms of development, one can say that Governor Obiano has performed very well.
Igwe Obidiegwu told newsmen at his Okohia palace, Ihiala, that the governor’s seventh anniversary is eventful in view of the unprecedented development witnessed in all sectors of the state economic.
The Ihiala monarch charged the entire Ihiala community to give full and unflinching support to his administration expressing optimism that more progress will be made this remaining one year.
