On March 17, 2021, Anambra State Government renamed some major roads and streets within Awka, the state capital after some individuals and organizations. The road renaming ceremony, which was the brain child of a renowned consultant, Chief Emeka Okonkwo, in partnership with ACTDA, ANSAA and Awka South Local Government Area, was chaired by the National Chairman of APGA, Dr. Victor Oye.

One of the roads is Agu-Awka Industrial Layout, which was renamed Winco Foam Avenue. No doubt, the road renaming is part of efforts by the government to encourage people towards the development of the state.
