The Deputy National President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Innocent Nduanya has called on Nigerian youths to be law-abiding and shun all forms of social vices at all times.
Comrade Nduanya, who made this known while speaking to the ABS in Awka, said Nigerian youths have enormous potentials that if properly harnessed, will elevate Nigeria into first World countries.
Comrade Nduanya, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Political Matters, urged Anambra youths to key into the various policies and programmes of the Obiano administration geared towards youths development.
He charged leaders at all levels to be responsive and accountable to the people, even as he asked the federal government to holistically tackle the issue of insecurity in the land.
For a community leader in Oroma-Etiti Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, Chief Simeon Nnekwe, youths must take their destiny in their own hands by engaging in productive ventures, rather than waiting for government to solve their problems.
Chief Nnekwe, who regretted that Nigerian leaders are not living up to expectations however, appealed to Anambra youths not to sell their votes and future in the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election, rather help vote a credible person that will lead the State at the expiration of the Willie Obiano administration.
