Coalition of Anambra State Youth Leaders has condemned the attack on Professor Charles Soludo and the abduction of Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities, Mr Emeka Ezenwanne.
Speaking to the press, the Leader of the organization, Mr Nwabufo Nwankwo, reiterated that Anambra State has enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere under the seven years administration of Governor Willie Obiano, saying that any attempt to destroy that legacy shall be vehemently resisted by Ndi Anambra.
Mr Nwankwo said that while waiting for the security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation, the group advised hoodlums, bandits, political thugs to stay away from Anambra state or have themselves to blame.
He thanked God for the safety of the erudite Professor of Economics, and prayed for the eternal repose of the souls of the security men who lost their lives during the attack.
They enjoined Anambra Youths to rise up against all those whose only ambition is to destroy the State and keep it in perpetual chaos.
