A new book titled “Governor Willie Obiano, Seven Years Delivering Good Governance In Anambra State, 2014-2021”, has been presented to the public.
The official presentation was performed today where Governor Willie Obiano was special guest of honour, at the Professor Dora Akunuili Women’s Development Center, Awka.
The two hundred and fourty four pages book published by Anambra Broadcasting Service was edited by Dr. Uche Nworah and Dr. Emeka Arinze.
Speaking, Governor Obiano gave assurances that his eyes are still on the ball, expressing optimism that he will finish strongly and hand over to someone that will do better than him, stressing that his administration’s vision and mission which birthed the pillars and enablers, has helped him put things in perspective.
Speaking about the ripple and multiplier effect of Governor Obiano’s legacy projects, Chairman on the occasion, Chief Austin Oguejiofor, represented by Barrister Chijioke Nwakor, said that the occasion is to celebrate a man of great vision, foresight, astute administrator, appreciating God for blessing the state with a man like him.
Earlier, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ABS, Dr. Uche Nwoarh said that everyday, ABS, through the commentaries set the agenda and seek to shape public opinion, where the establishment continues to document the activities of government, explaining that it is from the bank of commentaries read on ABS over the past seven years, that the volume was put together, to celebrate the milestones of the governor.
The event attracted dignitaries including members of Anambra State Executive Council, Anambra state security commanders, Traditional Rulers led by Igwe Alfred Achebe, Presidents-General, Ohaneze ndi Igbo worldwide, heads of government agencies, management and staff of ABS, among others.
