Wife of the Governor of Anambra State and founder of the charity organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano has urged Anambra women to resist attempts by moneybags and power-by-all-means politicians to sway them with financial inducements.
Dr. Mrs. Obiano gave the advice when she met with a socio-political women group, Golibe Difu Philip Ladies, spread across every local government area in Anambra State at Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area.
Daniel Ezigwe reports that the governor’s wife, who noted that Anambra State deserves a leader, who would complement Governor Willie Obiano’s legacies, observed that only those, who mean well for Anambra State, should be supported.
She urged the different women groups in Anambra State to use Governor Obiano’s stellar performance as a comparative index to choose who takes over from him.
Earlier, the leader of the group, Mrs. Amarachi Gollibe, said they had come to interact with the governor’s wife and reassure her of their commitment to the vision of her husband’s administration.
She described Governor Obiano administration’s achievements as commendable and a reference point in the country.
