Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency has announced the provision of opportunity for those that missed the first stage of COVID-19 vaccination in the State.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr Chioma Ezenyimulu.
The statement directed those that missed the first dose of the vaccination to go to Maternal and Child Health Centres, in their various Local Government Headquarters to get vaccinated, adding that the exercise, which commenced on Tuesday, 4thwill end on Friday 14th May, 2021.
The statement noted that the vaccination exercise kicks off at the venues each day by 8am and ends by 2pm.
It further advised Ndi Anambra to continue to adhere to COVID-19 preventive measures, such as wearing of facemasks, regular hand washing, and use of hand sanitizer, among others, and noted that being vaccinated does not stop one from being infected, but ensures the one develops immunity that stops the infection from progressing to disease.
