Church leaders have been urged  to anchor their faith on God for strength and guidance, while spreading the gospel so as to overcome daunting challenges that go with evangelism
This was the central message during a ministers’ conference  organized by the Grace of God Mission International, at the Glory Cathedral 3-3, Onitsha.
The event had in attendance Pastors and church leaders from different denomination, with the theme “If not us who, if not now when”.
Speaking during the event, the Presiding Bishop and General Superintendent, Grace of God Mission International, Bishop Paul Nwachukwu reiterated that God has given his apostles and prophets charge over the church and  in propagation of  the Gospel.
Bishop Nwachukwu said teachers must agree with the word of God, preach it undiluted and not compromise in doing the work of God for God to  prosper them, regretting the increasing anomalies  in the Society and called for serious action by the church in spreading the word of God.
Also speaking, , the presiding Bishop of Holy Ghost Ministries Awka Archbishop Ephraim Nfife, , who pointed out that there  is need for the church to maintain constant stride in growth, especially in wining more souls for Christ expressed his faith that the church of God will never fall nor fail, advising church leaders to anchor their life and teachings on God’s teaching.
Mr. Dominic Onuigwe, an elder in the church, noted that the event  has  rekindled the vision of moving not just the church but the body of Christ forward.
Bishop Paul Nwachukwu Jr. Of Grace Of God Mission International, in his speech noted that their are so many places that are still dark and need to be reached by the Gospel of Christ, especially the rural areas and there is need to support the ministers to reach those areas with the light of God, while Pastor Ora Okechukwu of same church, pointed out  that the teachings at the event is fundamental to their calling, to be able to reach out to more souls.
The event featured ministration by other men of God, including singing and praises.
