The National Chairman of the Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion EFAC Nigeria Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has cautioned politicians against playing politics with security of life and property.

Speaking to the ABS at the Aguata Diocesan secretariat Ekwulobia Right Reverend Ezeofor regretted the incessant killings of innocent citizens, kidnappings and banditry in different parts of the country and called on the government to map out far reaching measures that will address the ugly trend.

Right Reverend Ezeofor  who is also the Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese described protection of  life and property as one of the cardinal functions of the government charged the federal government to introduce more  measures that  will check incessant killings of innocent citizens across the country.

Bishop Ezeofor who called for equity and fairness in the distribution of the Nations resources urged politicians in Anambra State to maintain the zoning arrangement in the governance of Anambra State to ensure equity, fairness and justice in Anambra State administration.

Right Reverend Ezeofor called on those occupying leadership positions to use such in impacting positively on the lives of the people, urging the electorate to identify with the ongoing voters registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to obtain their permanent voters card in order to participate during elections.
