The Deputy National President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr Innocent Nduanya has appealed to the youths to shun social vices and help to create a peaceful environment for talents and skills to thrive.
Mr Nduanya who made the call while felicitating with Ndi Anambra on their thirty years anniversary, urged youths to imbibe the spirit of brotherliness, and called on Anambra youths to contribute towards the development of the state.
The Deputy National President also charged youths to assist the government in implementing its good policies and programmes and engage in constructive criticisms when necessary.
Mr Nduanya who noted that Anambra State is blessed with abundant opportunities that the youths can harness to become self-reliant, advised them to shun all forms of social vices and help in creating a peaceful environment that will guarantee harmonious coexistence.
According to him peaceful co-existence is imperative in the State now that Ndi Anambra are preparing for the November sixth Governorship Election, in order to have a peaceful, fair and crime free poll.
He called on politicians vying for the Anambra top job, to have the interest of the state at heart when elected, by ensuring that they only execute those projects that will be beneficial to Ndi Anambra, and congratulated Governor Willie Obiano for raising the tempo of socioeconomic development of Anambra state.
