Federal government has unveiled names of a seventeen-member Committee that will produce football development plan for Nigeria for the next ten years.
The constitution of the Committee followed President Muhammadu Buhari ‘s charge to stakeholders in football administration in the country to produce a Ten-Year Football Development Master Plan for the country.
Anambra-born, Chief Tony Nnacheta, who served as Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy in the State, was among those listed by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to carry out the assignment.
Other members of the Committee are: Emmanuel Babayaro, Sunday Oliseh, Chief Olusegun Odegbami, Mr. Ikeddy Isiguzo, Barrister Adokiye Amiesimaka, Barrister Musa Amadu, Dr. Bode Durotoye, representing the Ministry.
Others include: John Opubor, Honourable Ayo Omidiran, Mr. Ogbu Augustine Ojiabor, Tobechukwu Okigbo, Ade Ojeikere, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi, Mr. Yemi Idowu and Muhammad Daha Umar Faruk
Ekwi Ajide of ABS, Abuja Bureau, reports that a press release by the Ministry announcing the names also indicated terms of reference, as well as other relevant information that will be made public in due course.
