In what could best be described as reaping from where one sow, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Dr. Uche Nworah has reaped the benefits of his Ugbo Azụ Uno scheme initiated by Governor Willie Obiano.

The ABS boss who was delighted by the bountiful harvest from his cassava farm, said farming will help to reduce hunger.

Dr Nworah who is also a member of the Anambra State Ugbo Azu Uno Committee, expressed joy at the cassava yield from his farm and urged Ndị Anambra to key into the initiative.

He noted that he ventured into farming because of the interest Governor Willie Obiano has shown in the agricultural sector and the Ugbo Azụ Uno scheme.

Contributing, Mrs. Ngozi Adinuba said she will key into the Ugbo Azụ Uno scheme especially now that prices of food items are high in the market, and congratulated Dr. Nworah for walking the talk.

Labourers in the farm Mrs. Charity Ugbonna and Mrs. Eucharia Nwachukwu acknowledged that the success of the harvest is a testament to the efforts Dr. Nworah put in caring for his farm and encouraged all to participate in the Ugbo Azụ Ụnọ scheme for food sufficiency.
