All Saints Seminary Ekwulobia, owned by the Aguata Diocese of the Anglican Communion has held her eighth graduation ceremony and valedictory service for the class of 2020/2021.
The event held at the school premises attracted parents of the students, clergy, friends and well wishers who gathered to celebrate the graduating students.
Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha reports that the event commenced with a valedictory service and also featured prayer session, praise and worship.
The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese and Proprietor of the school Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor who spoke through the Archdeacon of Oko Archdeaconry, Venerable Steve Nnadi encouraged the graduands to remain good ambassadors of the school wherever they find themselves through living a life of excellence expressing believe that the school has inculcated in them the right moral and ethical values and principles that will make them excel in life.
On his part, the principal of the school, Reverend Canon Ifeanyi Mgbemene while thanking the parents, board members and old boys of the school for the enormous support to the growth of the school advised the graduands to live out their good visions and aspirations through consistent struggle and hard work.
He further emphasized that molding children into becoming agent of positive change in the society is the duty of everyone, calling on parents to rise to the challenge of building children that will make the society livable in the future.
Reverend Canon Mgbemene continued by reminding other students the primary purpose of being in school which is to work hard and achieve academic excellence.
Chairman of the Parent Teachers Association of the school Reverend Canon Timothy Agbanusi while assuring of continuous support to the development of the school called on the graduands to remain focused so as to breakthrough in life.
He harped on the need for them to continue developing themselves and stressed the importance of education in building a better society.
Some of the graduands including Masters Mmaduabuchi Nwozor the immediate past sanitary prefect of the school and Odinaka Okeke while thanking God for the feet they have achieved so far assured that they will continue to pursue their vision with vigour.
They further appreciated their parents and teachers for all the sacrifices and promised to continue making them proud.
The Board Chairman of the school, Dr Ruben Muonanu also addressed the students while out gone senior prefect Master Ezie Chinazaekpere and the incumbent senior prefect Master Ifeanyichukwu Christian gave their valedictory speeches and remarks respectively.
The event saw both the graduands and the best performing students of each class received gifts geared towards encouraging academic excellence.
