The standard bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, for next month’s Anambra State governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and his Running Mate, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim have met with the over thirty support groups that make up the All Soludo Support Groups.

The meeting was to fashion out modalities to ensure APGA’s victory in the November sixth election.

Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha reports that Professor Soludo who was optimistic that APGA will continue as the ruling party in Anambra state after November sixth commended the support groups for the level of commitment shown towards making Anambra a greater State.

He tasked them with the mobilization of their structures at the local government and ward levels for APGA assuring of running an all-inclusive government.

Professor Soludo further reaffirmed that APGA is the only platform for Ndigbo to negotiate for a fair share at the center and encouraged Ndi Anambra to trust APGA for a more progressive State.

The Chairman, All Soludo Support Groups, Chief Chinedu Nwoye in his speech called on the support groups to complement the efforts of one another instead of competing amongst themselves.

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of APGA, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim encouraged the people to remain steadfast and commit more time and resources to grassroot mobilization.

Former Deputy Governor of Anambra State Chief Emeka Sibudu, the Conveners of all the Support Groups, the Chief of Staff to the Governor Chief Primus Odili were among the stakeholders that attended the meeting which took place in Awka.
