The All-Progressives Grand Alliance Chairman, Anambra East Local Government Area, Chief Joseph Ekwealor has called on their members to ensure that the Party wins landslide in the forthcoming November sixth Anambra Governorship Election.

Chief Ekwealor who disclosed this while speaking to Newsmen in Awka, noted that the party needs to increase its grassroots mobilization and sensitization to ensure that it emerges victorious during the election.

According to the APGA Chairman, legacy projects of Governor Willie Obiano, including the near completed International Passenger and Cargo Airport, Umueri, Awka Township Stadium, the International Conference Centre Awka, Operation Light-Up Anambra, Community Choose Your Project Initiative among others, will give the party an edge over other political parties in the election.

He described the APGA’s flag bearer in the election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the best among those jostling to take over from Governor Obiano and made it clear that Soludo’s mastery of micro and macro-economic dynamics, as well as his contacts will enable him to consolidate on all the gains already recorded by governor Obiano.

Chief Ekwealor also called on Ndi Anambra to vote for APGA and protect their votes to enhance continuous development of Anambra state, as according to him, only the party has the interest of Ndi Anambra and Ndigbo at heart.

The APGA Anambra East boss, urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure that the forthcoming Anambra governorship election is free, fair and credible as well as be acceptable to the majority of Anambra electorates.
